Zachariah was born in South Carolina and later moved to Dutchess Co. New York leaving much of his extended family behind. Zachariah and many of the Story / Storey family were loyalist or tories who supported the British Crown during the American Revolution. Because of the Story / Storey family support of the British, Zachariah had 409 acres that were confiscated in New York. Check the Dunfee folder of this website for additional photos of his parents Island and other property in South Carolina. | Bangall, Baptist Church Cemetery | |
