 | A History of the Hinmans "A history of the Hinmans, containing also an abbreviated record of the Kindred families, showing their relation to the Hinmans : collected from state, colony, town and Church records; also from old Bibles and aged people. "
Privately published in 1907, this book centers around Emma Shaw the sister of Marcus Shaw and her husband Abner Hinman II and their genealogy. (see pages 31-66 for our lines) Many of the lines found on this site are published in this book as well, including both of our Mayflower lineages. And best of all, the book includes a photo of our 3X great grandfather Wilson Shaw (Page 32) as well as Emma Shaw and her home (see introduction). The discovery of this information is huge and adds many details about the Shaws and Crocker families that I was previously not aware of. The file is a PDF and you will need the free Acrobat Reader from Adobe to open. From time to time a copy of this book will appear for sale on the Abebooks.com and Amazon.com websites for sale. |

 | Early History of Cape May Has some excellent details regarding our Ludlam, Townsend, Dennis and Stiles family history as it pertains to Cape May, New Jersey at its rich history. Surprisingly the book mentions no Dunfees, yet they were living in the immediate area among the families mentioned in this book. |
